how to copy and paste ~ the quickest way is to : - click screen and drag the cursor across the text to copy
- then you can right click and select copy.
- then place cursor where ever you are pasting text to, like a text line in chat ,
- and right click again, and select paste.
if for some reason ( like java chat or a no right click function ....) it wont allow you to right click.... - hi-lite the text like above then
- try pressing the cntrl button and the c ( cntrl+c ) to copy
- and cntrl and v to paste ( cntrl+ v)
- by the way cntrl +z clears the text you placed on the clipboard
get it? some examples: lets say your in chat, you can copy what someone says, and save for later.... like this>> just follow directions above ...and repaste in chat, or to notepad. bucklee3 : knows kinky!!! bucklee3 : gru says posty is innocent 0:-) bucklee3 : . o O ( bucklee3-a-go-go) Posteris : how do you turn a mic on? bucklee3 : stroke it gently? this is great for grabbing links or having fun :) bucklee3 : www.nhyrvana.com for all your chat questions :-) if you need to save the info you copy try quick phrase its a small program that will hold 10 text strings for later. excellent for when you are editing pages or answering frequently asked questions... if you can find the old version somewhere, it holds 100 items. now a word of warning. if you copy text from WebPages, make sure you also copy the link and cite it.... and if you think you will be cute and copy paste things in chat, that have been edited, remember, you can type /save and save the transcript. and so can others. don't make accusations, don't attribute things to people that have been edited, you will be caught :P and many thanks to my buddy buck :) who knows its all in good fun and for a good cause, and who never really said any of the stuff above.
