Logitech Cam plug in for MSN and AIM ~ well hidden on the Logitech site... but worth the dig if you get lost. Pretty cool.

first step for a new msn chatter would be to sign up for passport , then select a chat id,  edit your profile,  then go to chat. you will have a small download to accept to access msn chat. if you don't accept it~ YOU CANT CHAT~

once in the room~ expect to be greeted and see some basic room rules, there are hosts/monitors in these chat rooms, so play nice!

If you right click an id you will see the options to ignore or "whisper"  ~ the whisper is private message option here

Now, at the very bottom of the room screen, under the text input line, you will see CHAT ROOM OPTIONS. This is where you assign sounds to alerts  and select your font color and type.  don't forget to click okay!

want to emote? well its a bit different there..... 

the familiar big y /commands don't seem to work at all.  copy paste options do work up to a certain number of characters.

so quickphrase or populist can be used to store common emotes

but to emote the MSN way type something, then hit the ! button, or CNTRL+A and the text will appear as an emote
