i wander in late
today, to good ol' YCH, and get assailed with person after
person asking about Roberts messenger clone ~ once i get my
bearings... i think.. another client. cool....
so i ask for a link
and go looking.... and immediately am struck with how it looks
exactly like the apple
site.... click on images for bigger pics...
so i read a bit,
cause i do like to look at possible new clients, and the name rings
a bell.... larry
roberts.... so a quick jump to google...
hmmm founder of the
internet? i don't think so...... now my curiosity is peaked... so i
do some additional searching.. the only reference to starlite
software is starliteonline.com ~ but page wont load.
well now im REALLY
curious, so i do a quick whois...
weird... all
blank..... just like the one for starliteonline....

well now i am really
curious, suspicious, and wondering..... fake names? fake phone
numbers? why that just cant be !! so i wander over to zdnet....
but there are NO items for roberts-interactive found....and nothing
about roberts interactive. and the only article that has a 'breathe
of fresh air quote' is ironically about Microsoft. same month as the
other quote though..
well now this just
CANT be right... so i am wandering some more and look at the oh so
helpful article "larry" says he wrote this February.
funny... i don't think he also goes by theRiddler and writes for
fuckmicrosoft.com ~ because the ORIGINAL article written in
June of 2001 was much better presented. "larry"

be very very careful
