-can listen to i voice chat if i dont have a mic?  or view webcams if i do not have one?-

on most chat servers, you are able to listen just fine if you do not have a mic, but not always. yahoo has an audio set up wizard that does require a mic to test. so, if you have no mic, and cant hear, you really have no way to test.  if you do have a mic and cant connect, use your sound recorder  to test , usually found by clicking start/ programs/accessories ~ then either in multimedia or entertainment, depending on what version of windows you use.

and as for webcams. many servers do allow you to access the cam function with out having a cam. but remember some may have age restrictions,. so read the help files if you can not see.

3 different  ways 

• hold shift, and right click the file, and click open with, and select the tool...like note pad  

• windows explorer > tools > folder options > file type tabs > find (old way to open), remove file type/ > find (new way to open ), add file type 

• open windows explorer....then click tools.. folder options...then file types.... scroll to the file type its wanting to play.. and change what that file is opened with

how do i pick a great password?-

personally i discourage folks from using pet names and simple words as a password. even using a real word found in dictionary can be iffy for some. the key to a good password is length and variation. two suggestions.   most homes have a Bible/ Koran/ whatever. open it randomly. point on the page. then use the chapter book and verse as a password. like 4matthew25. most of the time people have some kind of a book with a quote or item like that, if not a religious text. another book, but you do get the idea.
