my favorite program.. used long before Messenger had custom emotes, QuickPhrase allowed me to have one set of emotes and use on ANY chat client. I stored long ~ full page FAQ answers . The older version holds 100 options.. then new only 10.
I have tons of forum code saved in it now.. and a few passwords
example..... for my forum sig tag * because my old one doesn't allow images in the sig tag, i created text selection on quickphrase.....
[url=/][img]/~nhyrvana/att-sig/nhyrvana-banner.gif[/img][/url]
.......one quick click and it posts the correct code to show an image or imood or.....whatever i have stored.
I have an old ini file from a previous install that has html codes... just fill in the blanks :)
You can download Quickphrase/ now PhraseExpress available from
http://www.phraseexpress.com/ ~ that version only holds TEN! look around you may find someone has archived the older version, or try similar programs like Yankee Clipper. I got this YEARS ago off typingmaster.com ~ they have typing tuts and a few other toys....
IF you have the old version ~ this may help you use it. * this is from late 2000... this is JUST a quick help.. not in detail.

comps with NO problems or issues. IF you use it a lot..... PLEASE make sure
to back up the ini!! regularly
Open / launch Quickphrase and choose a phrase location ( 1- 100 ), then enter the text you want to use. If you will be using this in yahoo chat, you may want to add a : to emote it or /think to . o O (think ) it .
Then you can chose a hotkey code to auto send the text. ( keep it simple.... or don't assign a hotkey.. a simple right click of the icon in your systray gives you a menu to launch text from.
Next? click the EDIT ADVANCED tab to customize the text "name". NOTE: if you do not give it a name, the first part of the text will show in the "name" section. Maybe confusing if some have similar texts.
