This should help you figure how to use any image, or make your own image, then make it a tile to use as a background or wallpaper. You will need MSPAINT, PSP, and if you need help tiling, sTile. Now this is just a suggestion on how to do it... you should feel free to play with settings and create your own works of art :) OR! another way is to use tilemachine! www.tilemachine.com an very cool tile making tool! it's pbfp work.. not for everyone.
Want to create something all new? Start by opening MSpaint, a new image about 200x200 pixels for a start. i suggest you use a larger image size ( 800x600 or 400x300 ) if you are looking to make desktop wallpapers
|  | add colors and shapes, lines and dots as much as you want do a couple to work with later.
|  | When you have the images you want to use, click on file, save as, and name the images....you will need to open them again in a minute in PSP. ( paint shop pro ) Once open in PSP, click on EFFECTS, then Reflection Effects, then Kaleidoscope ~ ps* you can take an existing image for this as well.... a line drawing or a photograph.. play around!

| You can adjust all the settings to change the look.... click the little eye to preview ...i recommend a high radial suction for best look of smaller images. Get one you like? save it!!
|  | | Pretty cool huh.... wait. there is more.... you can transform these images into nice patterns too....
| just open the saved kaleidoscope image, and click on EFFECTS, REFLECTION EFFECTS, then PATTERN. Again, play with the settings here, and preview the images.....

Think you are all done? You maybe. You can open the image and crop so it will tile and be all done, some images will be perfect already, but if you need help tiling the image, or want to experiment more, you can use sTile.

| Just open the image in sTile and you can test the tile ~ try a 4 way flip, merge the edges, or even create a whole new tile from scratch. ( you can see this one is just a lilllllllll bit off and will need cropped or 4 way flipped to use on a site.
