At their website, enter /404 after their URL *example www.nhyrvana.com/404 * What do you see? Does it say 'Page Cannot Be Found'? A standard windows error page? Or do you see a page indicating you have an error which redirects you back to the index, perhaps with a humorous message?

Now, think honestly. Have you ever gotten an error page? What did you do then? Most likely, you left the site to find another with what you needed. Custom error pages help you retain traffic lost to incorrect links on other sites or mistyped links.
